Toton Tigers U12 Blacks 7 (Will 3, Chris 4)

Vikings 2

Tigers kept the pressure on the top 2 with this comfortable win over Vikings. A first for the Black team, with 2 separate hat tricks in one match.

Radcliffe Olympic 2

Tigers made hard work of what turned out to be a good win. 3-0 up at half time, the game looked over, substitutions were made for the second half and in the time taken to adjust to the pace of the game along with a determined Radcliffe second half start, Tigers were pulled back to 3-2 with only 15 minutes left. Things looked as though they could go either way before Chris gave us a 2 goal advantage to relive the pressure and as Radcliffe crumbled, the forwards took full advantage to finish 6-2 victors. Will Cooper finally providing the left side performance of his season with crosses to die for and Conor filling the midfield role to perfection.

Toton Tigers U12 Blacks 1 (Jack)

East Valley 4

Tigers were undone by a more determined opposition. East Valley had a point to prove looking for promotion themselves and came to Bramcote and took all 3 points. Tigers were sluggish, not up for the fight and came out deserved losers (I blame Paul Cooper! LOL) Jack the brightest spark in an otherwise miserable day.

Wollaton Hall Green 0

Not a great performance from the Blacks, playing some untidy football and getting pulled out of position left right and centre by a defensive team. Instead of playing our game, we got sucked into playing the opponents style of compressing space and not using the wings, whilst a good result, mainly a poor performance. Harry Lowe shone in midfield and was perhaps the main reason we didn’t concede today.
